At Cero, we strive to make your End-of-Life Vehicle (ELV) recycling process hassle-free and seamless. With our proven infrastructure and system, you will not have to worry about going through any complicated steps.
Our name, ‘Cero’ stands for ‘Zero’ in Spanish and means Zero Waste, Zero Pollution and Zero Hassles.
Some of the key steps in our ELV recycling process are as follows:
STEP 1
Instant Estimate
Provide us with information on your vehicle, including its year, make, model, condition, and location. We will assess the information to come up with an estimate. We offer zero-obligation offers and you can decide on the offer at your discretion.
STEP 2
Free Pickup
You can choose a collection date and time convenient to you. Our technicians will inspect the vehicle to confirm its condition. We will pickup your vehicle from your location and transport it to our recycling plant.
STEP 3
Prompt Payment
Once the pickup and inspection are complete, we process your payment quickly and securely. The amount will be transferred to your preferred account without any delays, ensuring a hassle-free experience.
STEP 4
Certificate Issued
After the transaction is finalized, we provide you with a Certificate of Deposit. This document helps you claim government incentives or benefits when purchasing your new vehicle, making the process rewarding.

CERO follows a 5-step dismantling process staring with
- Safe removal of hazardous fluids & gasses (like engine oil, fuel, AC gas, etc.)
- Dismantling of body parts (like doors, hood, seats, etc.)
- Dismantling of underbody parts (like wheels, exhaust, axle, etc.)
- Chassis number cutout for record compliance.
- Baling of steel hulk All parts are segregated, stored separately and sent to authorized recyclers.
Before you hand over your vehicle, make sure to check the glove box, trunk, door pockets, under seats, sun visors and any other storage area for personal belongings. It is also suggested to take a photograph of your car in you have any fond memories with it.

These benefits may vary based on geography, vehicle model and government policy. During vehicle recycling, materials such as ferrous and non‑ferrous metals, plastics, rubber, glass, batteries, electronics, and fluids are carefully separated for recovery. These materials are then sent to authorized recyclers ensuring they are safely processed and sustainably reintroduced into the ecosystem.
To scrap a vehicle, keep all essential documents ready including the RC, ID proofs, bank NOC (if applicable) and clearance of dues while also removing personal belongings from the car.
